What this means for you: By using Aerem's websites and services, you agree to these terms. The key points: (1) Aerem is a platform -- the installer who performs your installation is the contractor, not Aerem. (2) Loan terms are governed by NetZero Finance Pvt Ltd's separate loan agreement, which you will receive before disbursement. (3) Savings estimates shown on our calculator are projections based on stated assumptions, not guarantees. (4) You must be 18 years or older to use our services. (5) You agree to receive service communications by WhatsApp, SMS, and email.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of all websites operated by NetZero Finance Pvt Ltd (CIN: U65999MH2019PTC000000), trading as Aerem, including aerem.co, home.aerem.co, and partner.aerem.co ("the Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms were last updated in March 2026. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 30 days before changes take effect.

Aerem is a platform and marketplace. The solar installation is performed by an independent Aerem-certified installer partner, not by Aerem directly. The installer is the contractor for the installation work. Aerem is not a party to the installation contract.
Aerem is not a solar equipment manufacturer, retailer, or distributor to end consumers. Equipment specifications and warranties are as stated by manufacturers.
Where you apply for a solar loan through the Platform, the financing is provided by NetZero Finance Pvt Ltd, an RBI-licensed Non-Banking Financial Company. Loan terms -- including interest rate, tenure, EMI amount, prepayment terms, and consequences of default -- are governed by a separate Loan Agreement provided to you before disbursement. These Platform Terms of Service do not govern or modify the Loan Agreement.
By submitting a loan application, you consent to a credit bureau inquiry with CIBIL. A pre-approval inquiry is a soft check that does not affect your credit score. A final loan sanction inquiry is a hard check that is reported to CIBIL.

The Aerem brand, wordmark, logos, and all content on the Platform (including calculator methodology, article text, design, and software) are the property of NetZero Finance Pvt Ltd and are protected by Indian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission.
Customer reviews submitted through the Platform are licensed to Aerem on a non-exclusive, worldwide basis for use in marketing and product improvement. You retain ownership of your review content.
Savings estimates: Monthly savings and payback period projections are based on stated assumptions (electricity tariff, solar irradiance, system capacity, panel degradation, tariff escalation). Actual savings depend on individual consumption patterns, DISCOM tariff changes, local irradiance, shading conditions, and system performance. Aerem does not guarantee that actual savings will match projected savings.
PM Surya Ghar subsidy: The availability, amount, and disbursement timeline of PM Surya Ghar subsidies are subject to Government of India policy, DISCOM processing capacity, and individual eligibility assessment. Aerem does not guarantee subsidy approval or disbursement timeline.
Installer quality: Aerem certifies installer partners through its four-pillar certification program. Certification reduces but does not eliminate the risk of installation quality issues. Aerem is not the contractor for the installation and does not provide an independent warranty on installation workmanship beyond what is provided by the installer partner under the Aerem certification guarantee program.
Platform availability: Aerem makes reasonable efforts to maintain Platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NetZero Finance Pvt Ltd's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform (other than liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence) shall not exceed the fees, if any, paid by you to Aerem in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Aerem is not liable for: (a) losses arising from your reliance on calculator projections that differ from actual outcomes; (b) delays or failures by DISCOM in processing net meter applications or subsidy disbursements; (c) installation quality issues that are the contractual responsibility of the installer partner; (d) changes to PM Surya Ghar subsidy amounts or eligibility criteria by the Government of India.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
For disputes related to NBFC financing, the Grievance Redressal mechanism described at /legal/grievance-redressal/ must be exhausted before approaching any court. Unresolved grievances may be escalated to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in.
Aerem may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
