Why Mumbai installations require experience.
Mumbai has some of the highest electricity tariffs in India -- Rs 9.00-12.00 per unit on MSEDCL and Adani tariffs. A 3 kW system saves Rs 3,200-4,200 a month. A 5 kW system saves Rs 5,200-7,000.
The faster payback (2.0-2.7 years for a 3 kW system) makes Mumbai one of the best cities in India for solar economics. But Mumbai rooftops are not generous. Available space is often 150-250 square feet after accounting for water tanks, AC condensers, and shared access.
